As part of the Hemp4Circularity project, this online conference presents key insights into the development of a sustainable hemp textile value chain in North-West Europe.
Adopting a “from field to fabric” approach, the session covers the entire hemp value chain — from cultivation practices to processing steps such as scutching, spinning, weaving and recycling. It brings together expertise from across the sector and is primarily aimed at industrial stakeholders, including actors involved in pretreatment, spinning, weaving, knitting and recycling.
Through a series of expert interventions, the conference highlights practical experiences, technical challenges and lessons learned from the project, offering a clear overview of the current state of hemp textile development in the region.
